Two Factor Authentication

Many businesses are using VPN and remote access to benefit from flexible working practices for employees, and deploying web based collaboration tools to improve business processes and workflows. This in turn can heighten vulnerabilities to theft, fraud and hacking.Cryptocard Partner

To combat this issue, Rockford has partnered with CRYPTOcard to offer a two-factor authentication solution that helps protect companies from Hackers, ID Thieves and Fraudsters gaining access to IT systems and data within the company through the continued use of static passwords. Using the same solution as an ATM card and PIN for your bank, the solution uses highly robust tokens that generate one-time passwords to each user of the service when they log into IT systems and company networks. The flexibility of the tokens allow companies to choose between Hardware tokens (a physical device that generates onetime passwords), Software tokens (passwords sent via email), and Mobile tokens (a token code sent via SMS message on a mobile phone).

Users must identify themselves using the one time password and PIN, the request is then sent to the CRYPTO-MAS service over a secure encrypted link, authorised and then allowed access.

Benefits of the Two-Factor Authentication:Make an enquiry

  • Secures website, portals and web applications, located in secure data centre.
  • 99.99% availability using global infrastructure.
  • Simple and easy to use- Easier than deciding on, remembering and regularly changing traditional static passwords.
  • Hassle free two factor authentication - no complex integration.
  • The ability to place users into specific groups: to only access certain applications, used with different token types (a group of users for certain token types), groups of users can have different parameters set within CRYPTO-MAS.
