Shropshire based managed IT services provider, Rockford IT, have appointed another member of staff, taking their total up to 39. Peter Brown joined as Project Manager on the 5th July.
Peter spent 22 years in the Royal Air Force as an Explosives Engineer. After deciding on a career change Peter gained a degree in Information Technology and moved on to work as an Installation Engineer. 2 years later Peter moved to Cisco Systems as a Systems Engineer where he worked for 6 years and gained numerous qualifications along the way while there.
After his time in technical role at Cisco, Peter decided to move into Project Management and now has 9 years experience gained at two companies.
In his new role as Project Manager at Rockford IT Peter will be responsible for resource planning as well as management and delivery of projects for Rockford IT’s customer base.
Rockford IT’s Operations Manager, Liz comments:
“As Rockford IT continues to grow, we want to be able provide the best service for our customers, and the need for another Project Manager was imminent. We are pleased to have found Peter to join our current Project Manager Sarah. Peter comes with a wealth of skills and experience and will be a great asset to the team”.
